May 2025: monthly review

Sorry for the delay this month – I had a family emergency last weekend.

March 2025: monthly review

Last month (March 2025)

I haven’t been working much on my creative projects in the last few months – life has been busy. On the story front I published an account of my time at Darklands 2025 which you can read on Literotica: https://www.literotica.com/s/a-darklands-diary-2025

Next month (April 2025)

Working on Surrendr remake.

I have a couple of other projects in the pipeline:

  • I’ll be helping out with the next Plothole game jam organised by Time. You can see the results of the first Plothole jam here: https://itch.io/b/1383/plothole-loregasm-edition. More on this later!
  • Ass Assassin Round 3 is in early planning stages, working with A Voyeur Fan.

I also want to change up the tiers on this Patreon, and change the currency from USD to GBP, so for now until July, probably, I’ll be pausing billing, and there’ll be a reset in due course.

I’m around on the Homotextual Gaming Guild Discord server, where you can message me, discuss my creative projects, and grab dev builds of my current games. If you’re a fan of gay-focused interactive fiction, come and say hello!

Many thanks to all my patrons and followers for your support!

How To Set Up Automated Chastity Cage Check Emails Using Google Sheets and Apps Script

This is a quick guide to setting up automated chastity cage checks/verification requests by email, using a Google Sheets spreadsheet and some Apps Script code.

It’s a free alternative to workflow automation tools such as IFTTT or Zapier, which do a more flexible job of scheduling, but usually charge on a monthly basis.

What it does

The idea is to set up the Google Sheets spreadsheet to send yourself (or your locked sub) emails during the day, requesting a photo to prove that the sub is still wearing their cage. The spreadsheet contains text that can be selected randomly to generate a variety of emails. The actual email construction and scheduling is then done with some JavaScript-like Google Apps Script code, contained within the spreadsheet.

December 2024: monthly update

Last month (December 2024)

Still working on Surrendr. I didn’t get as much done as I had hoped during the holiday season.

Next month (January 2025)

Working on Surrendr remake. I’m working to get something basic and playable out.

As usual, I’m around on the Homotextual Gaming Guild Discord server, where you can message me, discuss my creative projects, and grab dev builds of my current games. If you’re a fan of gay-focused interactive fiction, come and say hello!

As always, many thanks to all my patrons for your support!

Anodyne

This story was posted at https://www.gayspiralstories.com/story/show/10010971 on 2024-11-25.

Arthur Tremaine, CEO of Prehensio, gets caught up in a plot by one of his employees.

(Author’s note: A revised version of a Discord caption story I wrote on 24/11/2024.)

I had just finished rebooting my laptop to complete an annoying Windows update when there was a knock at my office door.

“Arthur?”

Our commercial director, Geoff, popped his head in. “I need you for the Anodyne demo now. Can you come to the Trafalgar meeting room with me?”

I frowned. “I thought that was scheduled for tomorrow.”

Geoff smiled that overly wide smile which I knew meant that he was up to something, the smarmy bastard. “Yeah, mate, that one’s with the healthcare executives. I put in another meeting this morning with some other potential buyers. Come on, let’s go.”

October 2024: monthly review

Last month (October 2024)

Still working on the initial framework and mechanics of Surrendr. Not much to show yet, sorry!

  • But as a little teaser, I’ve attached the default face pic for a character in the game called Jack Harnham, a.k.a. Surrendr user ldn_dominant, who will be the ‘captor’ in Surrendr. Image from GeneratedPhotos.

I also pushed a bugfix for The Zhonghua ZeroDay, taking the current version to 1.7.2.

Next month (November 2024)

Working on Surrendrremake. I’m working to get something basic and playable out.

As usual, I’m around on the Homotextual Gaming Guild Discord server, where you can message me, discuss my creative projects, and grab dev builds of my current games. If you’re a fan of gay-focused interactive fiction, come and say hello!

September 2024: monthly review

Last month (September 2024)

Work has started on Surrendr remake. So far it’s been me re-familiarising myself with the development plan, and getting the skeleton of the game ready.

Next month (October 2024)

Working on Surrendrremake. Not much news I’m afraid. I’m working to get something basic and playable out.

A reminder: Patreon is mandating its creators to switch to subscription billing (instead of first-day-of-month or per-creation billing). You can read more about this change in Patreon’s news post here. From November 2024, I’ll allow my Patreon page to switch over to subscription billing along with most other creators.

As usual, I’m around on the Homotextual Gaming Guild Discord server, where you can message me, discuss my creative projects, and grab dev builds of my current games. If you’re a fan of gay-focused interactive fiction, come and say hello!

August 2024: monthly review

I know August isn’t over yet, but I wanted to close this month early and start a new cycle. Also, there are some important changes to Patreon billing – please read carefully.

General changes

1. Stories are on indefinite hold. These days I mostly write for fun in the Wildwood Discord server. Monthly updates will focus on the games I’m working on.

2. Billing is paused for September 1st, and will resume in October.

3. Patreon is mandating its creators to switch to subscription billing (instead of first-day-of-month or per-creation billing) to comply with demands from Apple, to do with Patreon being allowed in the App Store. You can read more about this change in Patreon’s news post here.

  • From November 2024, I’ll allow my Patreon page to switch over to subscription billing along with most other creators.
  • This will mean that new patrons will be charged when they join and then every month on the same date in the month that they first joined. You can read more about how this works here.
  • Existing members will continue to be billed on the 1st of each month.
